To start your Lampe Berger: Pour fragrance into your lampe no more than 1/2 way, insert the wick into the lamp, put the little cap on it and leave it to soak the wick for 20 minutes. Then, remove the cap, light the burner and let it flame for two minutes, then blow out the flame. Now the lamp is working to clean and make fragrant the air in your home. Simply replace the cap to "turn it off." You can mix fragrances if you like, but please only use Lampe Berger fragrance in your Lampe Berger lampe. (Mixing brands can ruin the wick, which you can replace with a new one from Ann's.)
